Brendan and Anita are such a wonderful couple. I originally shot their engagement session in downtown Los Angeles (seen here) and I couldn’t wait to shoot their wedding. What I love about Brendan and Anita is how you can tell Brendan takes care of Anita. Throughout the engagement session and their wedding he made sure that she was happy and smiling the entire time.
We started shooting at Franciscan Gardens, where they both got ready, although through some timing and maneuvering they didn’t have their first look until Anita was walked down the aisle at Mission Basilica San Juan Capistrano. They had a very romantic ceremony which concluded with Brendan and Anita exiting surrounded by Brendan’s companions from the Service. After that, we all went to Mission at San Juan Capistranofor some romantic wedding photos before heading back to Franciscan Gardens.
One of my favorite photos of the reception was the last frame I took. As they exited, surrounded by their friends and family with sparklers, Brendan kissed and dipped Anita. It was a perfect way to end a beautiful wedding! Thank you Anita and Brendan for having me at your wedding!
